What is the frequency of change?

Gauze should be changed 48hr after initial application, then 2–3 times per week.

Earlier if clinically indicated.

Description
Antimicrobial Super Sponge Contains:
  • 0.1% Polyhexamethylene Biguanide HCI (PHMB) and 0.02% benzalkonium chloride (BKC).
  • Broad spectrum antimicrobial effect within the dressing for Gram +ve and Gram -ve Bacteria
  • •PHMB, Effective against 15 gram-, gram+ ( including MRSA and VRE Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus ), Pseudomonas and fungi/yeast microorganisms

    •No known Bacterial resistance

    •Perform without negatively impacting epithelialization, promote a healing environment

    •superior aeration, and excellent absorbency.

    •Minimal cytotoxicity

2-May be used as a primary or secondary dressing Help manage the  moist environment of wound and prevent infection.
